The Virtues Of Isha Prayer
You should know the isha prayer is the last of the five prayers,it has many virtues, Because many people work at work all day, and at night they feel tired and lazy, for this reason they do not pray the isha prayer, But those who are truly Muslim, do not forget to remember God Almighty at the time of Laziness and fatigue as well, For that, it came in the hadith:
عَنْ عُثْمَانِ بْنِ عَفَّانَ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، يَقُولُ: «مَنْ صَلَّى الْعِشَاءَ فِي جَمَاعَةٍ فَكَأَنَّمَا قَامَ نِصْفَ اللَّيْلِ». (صحيح مسلم: 656)
In English Text: an euthman bin eaffan qala: samietu rasul allh salla allh ealayh wasallama, yaqulu: “man salla salatal isha’ fi jamaeatin faka’annama qama nisf alllayli”. (Shih Muslim: 656)
Translation: On the authority of Othman Bin Affan, he said: I heard the Messenger of God, peace and blessings of God be upon him, saying: Whoever prays the Isha prayer in congregation, as if half of the night.
It has been evident from this hadith that the isha prayer is a great virtue, in which the reward for half-night worship occurs.
The Mustahab (Recommended) Isha prayer time:
It is starts after the ending time of Maghrib prayer, in other language after the one hour from sunset to a third of the night, that is the best Isha prayer time, After that, until midnight, it is permissible to pray the isha prayer, After half of the night until Sobh Al-Sadiq hates to pray the Isha prayer.
How Many Rakats In Isha Prayer?
There are total 17 rakats in isha prayer: 4 Sunnah Ghair Muakkadah, 4 fard, 2 Sunnah Muakkadha, 3 Wir, 2 Nafal.
How To Pray Isha Prayer?
So first perform 4 rakat sunnah, there is no sin in leaving this sometimes, and understand as well that surah will be read in every rakat of the sunnah prayer after surah fatiha.
After that preform 4 rakat fard, and you also understand that surah will be read in tow first rakat of fard prayer after surah fatiha, and in last two or one rakat only surah fatiha.
After that perform 2 rakat sunnah muakkadha, it must be performed, and it is not permissible to leave it, because the Messenger of Allah, (may allah bless him and grant him peace) never left it.
After that preform 3 Witr It is an obligation that cannot be left like a fard,and read surah in every rakat of witr after surah fatiha, and in third rakat after reading surah before doing Ruku, read Duaa e Qunoot, and then do ruku, and sajda and then do salam.
After that preform 2 rakat nafal.
Which Surah Will Be Read In Isha Prayer
It is better if you read any surah between Surat Al-Tariq and Surah Al-Bayyinah, It is the way of the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, in reading the isha prayer.
